Heavy-duty torch-on membrane with polyester reinforcement — for large flat roofs, decks and buried structures.
Bina Torchseal is an APP-modified bitumen membrane with a spun-bonded nonwoven polyester core coated both sides with APP-modified bitumen. The polyester core gives high tensile strength, elongation and lap-joint strength, so a properly installed membrane forms an impervious, permanently flexible blanket that absorbs normal structural movement without cracking. It can be used in exposed or covered applications and is installed in a single torch-welded layer.
Best for:

Prepare and prime the substrate; install flashing details at peripheries and protrusions.
Torch-weld the membrane to the substrate (or loose-lay with bonded laps), melting the underside just enough to bond.
Maintain 10 cm side laps and 15 cm end laps; re-heat and trowel overlaps to seal seams.
Protect (screed/tiles) for covered applications, or use the granule finish for exposed roofs.
