Supply and application of the Bina Duracourt water-based acrylic sports-court surfacing system over a new or existing concrete or bituminous (premix/asphalt) base, including surface preparation, system coats and line marking to the relevant federation standard for the nominated sport(s). Application by a Bina-approved applicator.
The Duracourt acrylic coats (Mastic, Colour) are single-component, water-based, low-VOC and non-flammable (indoor-safe); the BE3100 binder is a bitumen emulsion. Duracourt BE3100 – Bitumen Emulsion = bitumen-emulsion primer/binder coat on concrete; Duracourt Mastic = acrylic build/texture coats; Duracourt Colour = water-based acrylic wearing coat (65 ± 2% weight solids, 0.2–0.4 L/m² over 2 coats, matt non-skid). Acrylic line paint in white/contrast. Refer to current TDS and SDS.
New concrete: cured ≥28 days, free of curing compounds, laitance and contaminants, and dry. New premix/asphalt: 50mm premix over 150mm crusher run over 50mm sand blinding; cured before coating. Outdoor falls: planar 1% (1:100) min, no ponding deeper than ~3mm one hour after wetting. Surface flat to ±3mm under a 3m straightedge.
Clean and degrease; pressure-wash to remove dirt and laitance. Rout and fill cracks; patch depressions/birdbaths with acrylic patch/mastic. On concrete, apply one coat of Duracourt BE3100 – Bitumen Emulsion primer/binder. Verify falls and tolerance before build coats.
Apply by brush, roller or rubber squeegee (squeegee mix may include clean silica sand and water). Stir thoroughly; on hot surfaces thin up to 1 part water to 4 parts Duracourt by volume. Apply only to a clean dry surface; do not apply if rain is expected within the recoat window or below ~10°C. Touch dry ~30 min; minimum 2 hr between coats; each coat fully dry before the next. Apply successive coats at right angles where practicable.
Set out court lines to the relevant federation standard for the nominated sport(s); mask and apply acrylic line paint in white/contrast colour. Multi-sport courts are colour-coded per sport.
Allow each coat to dry as specified. Permit light foot traffic only after the final coat is dry; open to full play after curing. On new concrete, allow 14 days minimum (28 recommended) before play.
H1 Substrate acceptance (cure, moisture, falls, tolerance, cleanliness) · H2 Primer/binder coat (concrete) · H3 Build & colour coat coverage · H4 Line-marking setting-out · H5 Final handover inspection.
Water-based, low-VOC, ammonia-free; SIRIM eco-label / MyHIJAU. Non-flammable — suitable for enclosed/indoor halls. Refer to product SDS for handling and PPE.
System warranty by Bina Paint / approved applicator on a per-project basis, subject to correct substrate, preparation, application and maintenance. Typical resurface cycle ~5–8 years depending on usage.
