What It Is

A poured, perfectly smooth floor

A self-levelling (self-smoothing) epoxy is applied as a flowable liquid that finds its own level and cures to a seamless, glass-smooth surface with no joints for dirt or bacteria to collect. It is the finish of choice where hygiene and cleanability matter most, and sits in the system above the primer (and mortar build, where extra thickness is needed) and below an optional PU topcoat.

FAQ

Common questions

What is a self-levelling floor?

A flowable epoxy poured and spread to find its own level, curing to a seamless, smooth surface with no joints — ideal where hygiene and a flawless finish matter.

Self-levelling or mortar screed?

Self-levelling gives a smooth, thinner seamless finish; the epoxy mortar (EM6304) builds 3–10 mm of heavy-duty thickness for impact and traffic. Many floors use the mortar for build then a smooth coat on top.

Do I need a topcoat over it?

Often a PU 7600 topcoat is added for UV colour-stability, extra non-skid safety or steam-cleanability. We advise based on the environment.

Can I get the datasheet?

Yes — the SL 6500 TDS is issued on request. Message us and we’ll send it for your submission.
