Slips are a top cause of workplace injury. Bina builds anti-slip safety into the floor system — a textured, non-skid finish for ramps, wet areas, kitchens, walkways and wash-down zones.
Aggressive grip where vehicles and foot traffic climb.
Slip-safe, cleanable floors in food prep and wash-down zones.
Comfortable, safe non-skid finish along traffic routes.
How anti-slip is built into the Bina floor system.
| How it’s made | Graded aggregate broadcast into a body coat, locked with topcoat — or the non-skid PU 7600 finish |
|---|---|
| Topcoat | Bina PU 7600 (non-skid) or aggregated Bina EF 6200 |
| Grip level | Tuned to the area (walkway → ramp → wash-down) |
| Slip rating | Tested rating available on request — ask our team |
Formal slip-resistance ratings (e.g. R-value / pendulum) are confirmed on request for the specified build.
We match the texture to the area — not too rough to clean, not too smooth to be safe.
Slip resistance that still washes down — important for food and wet areas.
The anti-slip layer is part of one compatible Bina build, not an add-on.
Aggregate broadcast needs skill — Bina supplies and applies it.
Usually by broadcasting a graded aggregate into a wet body coat and sealing it with the topcoat, or by using the naturally non-skid PU 7600 finish. The grip level is tuned to the area.
Yes — we balance texture against cleanability so wet and greasy areas stay safe but still wash down. Very aggressive textures are reserved for ramps and wash-down zones.
A tested slip-resistance rating for the specified build is available on request — message us with the area and we’ll advise.
Ramps, kitchens, wash-down areas, wet process zones and walkways are the usual priorities.
Tell us the area and how wet or greasy it gets — we’ll specify the right anti-slip build and quote it.
