What It Is

The heavy-duty body of the floor

Bina Gard EM6304 is a solvent-free, silica-sand-filled three-component epoxy mortar screed designed as an osmosis moisture barrier and a high-build wearing layer. Laid 3–10 mm thick over the SF6303 primer, it builds a seamless, hygienic (when sealed), impact-resistant body for industrial flooring, warehouses, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities and car parks — then finished with a scratch coat and an epoxy or PU topcoat.

FAQ

Common questions

How thick is an epoxy mortar floor?

Bina Gard EM6304 is laid from 3 mm up to 10 mm depending on the traffic and how much the slab needs rebuilding.

Does it need a topcoat?

Yes — the mortar is not UV colour-stable on its own. It is sealed with a scratch coat and an epoxy or PU topcoat for the finished surface.

What slab does it need?

A sound concrete substrate of at least 25 N/mm² compressive and ≥1.5 N/mm² pull-off, mechanically prepared and primed first.

Where is it used?

Warehouses, chemical plants, manufacturing and car parks — anywhere the floor takes heavy impact, traffic or chemical load.
